Law in Greece is specific on the transactions made by foreigners like buying a house. AFM or Ah-Fi-Me is the tax roll number that every foreigner should have for any transaction on mainland or. Not that the Greek citizens are exempt from such laws.  The best part of it is that you are not required to be a Greek citizen or carrying a residential permit to make transactions on properties.
